I'm finally getting our girls' blog started! I have a lot of catching up to do. Today was an exciting day for us. It's my first Mother's Day and the girls' half-birthday. Avery & Kara are 6 months old today! At their doctor appointment last week, Kara weighed almost 16lb, and Avery was 15lb.
We also had their baby dedication at church this morning. The paster told everyone the meaning of their names & gave each one a special bible verse.

(When we originally looked up the meaning of Avery's name, we found it to be "Ruler of the Elves," which we think is hilarious. I'm glad they didn't say that version in church!)

I can't believe they are 6 mos. already! They are precious. Avery looks like her Daddy and Kara like Mommy. I hope we can see them soon. We'll be in town for Father's Day, maybe we can stop by.
